This Saturday, the Botanical Garden Museum hosts the 2nd “De Flor em Flor” Festival, with theater, music, and free creative workshops.
From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., the Botanical Garden Museum invites families for an afternoon of discovery and creativity at the “De Flor em Flor” Children’s Festival. The event celebrates art, nature, and imagination, with a program that inspires free play and curiosity about the natural world.
Theater, workshops, and music among the flowers
The festival opens at 2 p.m. with Bagunça, a clown theater piece by Grupo Roda Gigante that playfully explores childhood. At 3 p.m., two simultaneous workshops invite participation: one focused on flower observation drawing and another on creating herbal foot soak sachets, blending art, botany, and ancestral knowledge.
At 4 p.m., the group Farra dos Brinquedos ends the program with Tudo Quanto É Coisa, a musical performance full of rhythm and imagination inspired by children’s worlds.
Celebrating childhood and biodiversity
The festival strengthens the Botanical Garden Museum’s role as a place for education and conservation, merging science and culture through sensory experiences. It emphasizes childhood as a space for learning, creativity, and environmental awareness.
With master sponsorship from Shell Brasil and management by the IDG – Institute for Development and Management, the Museum, opened in 2024, has become a hub where science and culture meet.
