Interferir: where clay meets bronze

In contemporary Brazilian design, authorial objects go far beyond decoration. They carry narrative, provoke sensation, and shape the character of a space. That is precisely the territory of Interferir, a collection born from the partnership between Una Ambientes and dua.dsg.

The pieces are conceived by designers Ále Alvarenga, Marina Grapiuna and Tetê Moreira, and crafted in clay using an ancient Egyptian molding technique studied, refined, and patented by Alessandra Busto, founder of Una Ambientes. Ceramic surfaces in sand, rust, and dark sand tones receive fittings cast in gilded bronze or matte black bronze.

The contrast between clay and metal is deliberate — and deeply meaningful. Pieces named Berimbau, Balangandã, Caminhos, and Caju evoke elements of Afro-Brazilian culture, music, and Brazil’s landscapes, weaving intensity and cultural memory into the interior.

Interferir unites the tradition of clay with digital design, turning the contrast between clay and metal into a creative and cultural statement.

Instante: time suspended in ceramic and resin

Where Interferir asserts itself through provocation, Instante takes a different path. The collection brings together dua.dsg, Una Ambientes, and By Poli around a reflection on the passage of time. The inspiration is “Roda Viva”, a classic song by Brazilian composer Chico Buarque — and that poetic reference infuses every piece.

Ceramic forms shaped by Una Ambientes are paired with hand-crafted polyester resin by By Poli. Lines like Roda Pião, Rodamoinho, and Tempo translate time into shapes that suggest movement and contemplation — evoking spinning gestures or preserving natural fragments suspended in resin.

By Poli, internationally recognized for its handcrafted finish and aesthetic refinement, reinforces through this partnership its commitment to the originality and sophistication of Brazilian design. The result is a collection that embraces without sacrificing elegance.

Design as cultural expression

Together, both collections reveal that interior identity can emerge from entirely different approaches. In one, design operates through material intervention and contrast. In the other, through lightness and the creation of contemplative atmospheres. Between provocation and warmth, Interferir and Instante expand the expressive possibilities of space.

The collaboration between dua.dsg, Una Ambientes, and By Poli reaffirms the role of Brazilian authorial design as a sensitive cultural expression — combining ancestral clay, technological precision, and contemporary materials into objects that are at once art, craft, and narrative.
