EcoVilla Ri Happy hosts the Christmas Magic event in December with the musical Auto da Alegria and festive activities for kids.
December arrives with the holiday spirit, and EcoVilla Ri Happy, located in Rio de Janeiro’s Botanical Garden, has prepared a special program for the whole family. The Christmas Magic at EcoVilla Ri Happy event promises a world of fantasy, combining art, play and affection. The highlight is the musical Auto da Alegria – A Christmas Comedy Musical.
Auto da Alegria – A Christmas Comedy Musical
The show tells the story of a clumsy troupe trying to stage a Nativity play, creating plenty of comical situations. Characters such as Mary, Joseph, angels, the three wise men and even tap-dancing sheep bring humor and emotion to a story that conveys a message of love and unity.
Mixing theater, circus and music, the production offers laughter and heartfelt moments, capturing the essence of Christmas in a playful and touching way.
Activities and games
In addition to the musical, the event features interactive areas and workshops for children: – Santa’s House: a photo spot for families. – Lounge: a cozy rest and dining area. – Play zone: ball games, jump ropes, hula hoops and more. – Baby area: a space for toddlers aged 0 to 4. – Christmas workshops: making wreaths, cards, ornaments and Santa hats.
About EcoVilla Ri Happy
Opened in 2022, EcoVilla Ri Happy is Brazil’s first cultural hub dedicated to children and families. Located in the former Teatro Tom Jobim, it offers a continuous program that encourages kids to connect, discover and express through art and play.
The project is an initiative by Aventurinha, a brand of Aventura led by Aniela Jordan, Luiz Calainho and Giulia Jordan. Accessibility is a core value, featuring sign language interpretation, audio description, tactile tours and braille signage. The Ri Happy concept store extends the experience, offering playful products that unite culture, fun and creativity.
