From March 20 to 23, the city turns into a giant festival with 479 attractions — see access, ticket, and mobility info.
The Florianópolis Cultural Marathon reaches its 12th edition filling over 100 locations with theater, dance, cinema, visual arts, and live music. The festival transforms the capital of Santa Catarina into a living stage for four days, celebrating art and community.
Arena Floripa: what you can bring
Allowed items include sealed food, fruits, water bottles, reusable cups, raincoats, small bags, sunscreen, prescription medicine, and non-professional cameras. Prohibited items include beverages (except water), coolers, glass bottles, umbrellas, selfie sticks, sharp objects, and pets (except guide dogs).
Accessibility and inclusion
Over 30 attractions will feature sign language interpretation, audio description, and designated accessibility areas. There will also be a bilingual support area, distribution of soundproof headphones, and access wristbands. The festival also includes PWD artists, reinforcing cultural diversity.
Traffic and transportation
Some streets will be closed to vehicles during the event. Public transportation will run normally on Friday (21) and Saturday (22), and on Sunday (23) the “free bus” system guarantees free rides between the festival circuits.
Tickets
Most of the programming is free, but some venues require advance ticket collection at pensanoevento.com.br. For closed venues, tickets are available one hour before each show — two hours at the Ademir Rosa Theater (CIC).
