Centro Cultural São Paulo hosts free Casa de Criadores and Trama Afetiva exhibitions on fashion, art and regeneration.
This weekend, the Centro Cultural São Paulo (CCSP) becomes a meeting point for fashion, art and regenerative practices, with two free exhibitions open to the public.
From 3 to 14 December, the cultural venue presents shows by Casa de Criadores and the Trama Afetiva platform, inviting visitors to reflect on new ways of creating, consuming and imagining possible futures for the sector.
The exhibition “Qual Moda, Para Qual Mundo?” is part of the 57th edition of Casa de Criadores and is guided by the central question of the platform, bringing together works by 15 artists and fashion designers.
Curated by Karlla Girotto, the show features installations, critical texts and sculptures made from discarded clothing, addressing themes such as sustainability, regeneration and the boundaries between fashion, art and politics.
This year, the occupation transforms the Sala Flávio de Carvalho into a spatial manifesto about care, imagination and new possible ecologies, bringing artistic language closer to critical thinking.
In the Sala de Vidro, the Trama Afetiva platform debuts the exhibition “Do monstro híbrido ao corpo regenerativo”, featuring creations made from reused nylon from discarded umbrellas, a signature material of the initiative.
Curated by Jackson Araujo, the exhibition brings together ten mannequins that highlight collaborative processes, circularity and the potential of craftsmanship as an act of recomposition.
In addition to the exhibition, Trama Afetiva launches the book “Trama Afetiva: Moda em Regeneração”, a collection of texts produced during its Cultural Immersion in Regenerative Fashion, held in October this year.
The publication gathers essays and memories on collective creation and waste transformation and will be distributed free of charge to public libraries and fashion schools in the state.
