Fort Atacadista collects toys for Árvore do Bem in 33 SC stores until December 15.
Fort Atacadista, the wholesale chain of Grupo Pereira, is once again partnering with NSC in the Árvore do Bem campaign, a solidarity project that collects toys to be distributed to children in vulnerable situations during Christmas.
The donation period began on November 18 and runs until December 15 in 33 stores across Santa Catarina, which serve as collection points.
A traditional initiative in the state
The project has become one of the largest year-end social initiatives in Santa Catarina. In 2024, the campaign registered more than 6,300 donated toys, delivered to 22 institutions serving children and adolescents.
Fort Atacadista’s social commitment
According to Silvia Marquez, marketing manager at Fort Atacadista, participating in Árvore do Bem reflects the chain’s commitment to the communities where it operates.
The brand has long used the motto “Doing good is good business!”, which expresses the idea that positive outcomes also involve social responsibility and collective impact.
“We believe Christmas is a time of unity and hope, and we want to help more children experience this magic. Being a collection point for Árvore do Bem allows us to mobilize our customers and reinforce our role as a partner to the people of Santa Catarina, not only in retail but also in initiatives that transform lives,” says Silvia.
How to participate
Anyone can participate by donating new toys directly at the participating units.
In the bazaar section of Fort Atacadista stores, customers will find options that can be purchased for donation at the collection points installed in 33 of the chain’s 41 units in Santa Catarina.
