St. Patrick’s Day Passeio Pedra Branca returns March 7–8 in Palhoça, SC: 3 stages, 26 craft breweries, and free admission for the whole family.
Ireland comes to southern Brazil for a weekend
The St. Patrick’s Day Passeio Pedra Branca 2026 festival brings the spirit of one of the world’s most beloved celebrations to the open-air mall in Palhoça, Santa Catarina. On March 7 and 8, from 11 AM to 8 PM, visitors can dive into Irish culture through live music, artisan craft beer, creative markets, and family-friendly entertainment — all free of charge.
Now a fixture on the Greater Florianópolis events calendar, the 2026 edition is the biggest yet. With free, limited-capacity admission, the festival strikes a balance between accessibility and quality that few events in the region can match.
What to expect at the festival
The lineup covers every angle of a great outdoor festival. Three stages will feature live bands and artistic performances throughout both days, creating a non-stop soundtrack inspired by Irish tradition.
Beer lovers are in for a treat: 26 craft breweries will pour more than 200 draft beer options, including the signature green draft beer, alongside 2 cocktail bars for those looking for something different. Twenty-three food trucks round out the culinary offering, covering everything from comfort food to gourmet bites.
The Creative Market puts local artisans and makers front and center, while a dedicated Kids Area spanning 300 m² keeps younger guests entertained in a safe, supervised environment — making this a genuine event for all ages.
The story behind St. Patrick’s Day
Officially celebrated on March 17, St. Patrick’s Day honors the patron saint of Ireland and has grown into a global cultural phenomenon. From Dublin to New York and now to southern Brazil, the holiday is synonymous with the color green, shamrocks, folk music, and community gatherings centered around good food and drink.
“St. Patrick’s Day Passeio Pedra Branca has become more than a celebration — it is a cultural, family-friendly, and gastronomic gathering that blends tradition and contemporary life in one of the most beautiful urban spaces in Greater Florianópolis.” — Hames Eventos
