From Japanese workshops to live theater, Hurbana turns four urban spaces into free cultural destinations for families between April 1–5.
Easter in Greater Florianópolis looks different in 2026. Hurbana – Cidade para as pessoas is hosting a special multicultural program across four of its spaces: Passeio Primavera, Passeio Sapiens, Casa Hurbana, and Passeio Pedra Branca. All activities are free and designed for children and families.
The concept goes well beyond chocolate eggs and bunny ears. The goal is to connect global cultural references and turn these urban spaces into hubs of community, learning, and entertainment. Creative workshops, live music, storytelling, outdoor play, and themed experiences fill the schedule.
Easter Around the World at Passeio Pedra Branca
In Palhoça, Passeio Pedra Branca offers a genuine world tour through Easter traditions. The week kicks off Wednesday (Apr. 1) with a German-inspired decorative egg painting workshop at 3 PM.
Thursday (Apr. 2) brings workshops inspired by Hungary and Japan, followed by themed games. Friday (Apr. 3) travels to the Czech Republic and Mexico, with activities including the iconic Mexican papel picado.
Saturday (Apr. 4) is the highlight. An Argentina-inspired workshop featuring Easter cards runs from 3 PM to 6:30 PM. The bunny scavenger game begins at 4 PM, and the day closes with the musical theater show “The Rabbit Family’s Journey in Search of the Lost Eggs” at 5:30 PM.
Immersive Experience at Casa Hurbana
In downtown Florianópolis, Casa Hurbana hosts programming on April 4 and 5. Saturday opens with a musical theater performance featuring Easter characters at 2 PM, including audience interaction.
The afternoon lineup includes a Japanese origami basket workshop, a storytelling session drawn from the French tradition of Easter bells, and an Italian-themed Easter card workshop. On Sunday (Apr. 5), a German egg-painting session is followed by a Brazilian-style Easter egg hunt at 5 PM.
Live Music and Circuits at Passeio Primavera and Passeio Sapiens
On April 3 and 4, Passeio Primavera hosts a themed children’s circuit from 1 PM to 6 PM, an Easter musical show at 3 PM, live music from 1 PM to 4 PM, and workshops throughout Saturday.
At Passeio Sapiens, Friday features a musical show at 3 PM and live music from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Saturday brings the children’s circuit from 1 PM to 6 PM and live music again in the evening.
