With over 20 million moviegoers won over throughout his career, Brazilian comedian Leandro Hassum takes the stage at Qualistage on March 28 with his hit show “É Noix Família” (roughly, “It’s All Family”), as part of the Humor Contra-Ataca 2026 Festival. The night opens with fellow comedian Gui Albuquerque and his solo show “Eu Gago e Ando” (“I Stutter and I Walk”).
A Family That Laughs Together, Stays Together
In “É Noix Família”, Hassum dives headfirst into the chaotic, warm, and unmistakably relatable world of Brazilian family life. On stage, he transforms real memories and household moments into comedy gold — drawing from a cast of characters that audiences recognize instantly: the overbearing mom, the exasperated spouse, mischievous cousins, and everyone in between.
From family road trips to birthday parties, Christmas gatherings to the absurdities of pandemic lockdown — nothing is off-limits. With over 30 years in the business, Hassum also revisits milestones from his own career, blending personal stories and sharp everyday observations into a show that feels both intimate and universal.
True to his signature style, Hassum leaves room for improvisation and direct audience interaction, making each performance a one-of-a-kind experience. His guiding principle says it all: the family that laughs together, stays together.

Gui Albuquerque Opens the Night
Before Hassum takes the spotlight, Gui Albuquerque warms up the Qualistage crowd with “Eu Gago e Ando”. A stand-up comedian, actor, and digital creator from Rio de Janeiro’s Tijuca neighborhood, Gui turns his own stutter into creative fuel — building a style that is genuinely funny, spontaneous, and deeply personal.
Known for coining the catchphrase “Por que choras, Leblon?” (“Why do you cry, Leblon?”) — a playful jab at Rio’s upscale South Zone — Gui brings an irreverent, North Zone perspective to the stage. He also hosts the weekly show “Bora Tijucar”, cementing his place as one of Rio’s most exciting rising voices in comedy.
