The group show “O Baile” celebrates 15 years of Luciana Caravello Gallery, uniting 15 artists who shaped its contemporary art journey.
Curated by Daniela Labra, the exhibition opens on March 21 and reconnects the gallery’s past and present, highlighting the relationships, creative dialogues, and emotions that define its story.
More than a retrospective, “O Baile” creates a shared space between artists from different generations, reaffirming the collaborative spirit that has guided the gallery since Luciana Caravello founded it in 2011. The show takes place at the new venue on R. Estados Unidos, 2169 – Jardins, São Paulo.
The 15 participating artists include Afonso Tostes, Ana Linnemann, Armando Queiroz, Bruno Miguel, Dani Carcav, Daniel Lannes, Gisele Camargo, Igor Vidor, Ivan Grilo, Lucas Simões, Luiz Hermano, Marcos Cardoso, Nazareno, Patricia Guerreiro, Pedro Varela, and Sergio Alevato.
Featuring paintings, sculptures, photographs, installations, and works on paper, the exhibition reflects the artistic diversity that has marked the gallery’s 15-year journey. It focuses on connection and continuity rather than chronology.
As part of the anniversary celebrations, the gallery will also publish a book compiling 15 texts written throughout its history, reinforcing its commitment to critical reflection and institutional memory.
