Encouraging Artistic Production

The Annual Art Exhibition has been running for over 60 years. It has been held since 1964. Its principle is to encourage artistic production. The objective is to create a space for reflection. New ideas and perceptions about art are openly debated. Art is a vital educational tool. Its visibility outside the campus walls is important.

“Art is an educational tool and its visibility outside the walls expands dialogue perspectives. It instigates, denounces, questions, calms, provokes reflections, and enables new ways of thinking. Therefore, the works exhibited contribute to valuing the potential of these artists, who present expressions of contemporaneity from the perspective of the new generation,”

Professor Marcos Moraes made the explanation. He is the director of MAB FAAP. The Annual Art Exhibition is a very significant reference. It is important for contemporary visual arts. The exhibition has many dimensions. Catalog production and museology are carefully managed. Many famous artists were first seen there. The exhibition showcases the interests of the artists during college.
