With a comfortable setting, easy access and a broad mix of entertainment and restaurants, Shopping Metropolitano Barra is rolling out a full holiday-season itinerary for families staying in the city. The schedule focuses on practical, safe options for children and convenience for parents and guardians.
Animasom Holiday Camp
One of the highlights is the Animasom Holiday Camp, held at the play area through February 1, with limited tickets. The idea is to keep children busy all day with supervised recreation in a safe environment.
The program includes games, playful activities and monitored recreation led by a specialized team. Lunch is included, featuring homestyle meals such as penne bolognese or rice, beans and ground beef, plus juice.
Families can book a single day for R$ 130, or choose packages: 7 days for R$ 585 and 15 consecutive days for R$ 910. Weekend use is also allowed, and children may leave and return to the play area multiple times in the same day, within opening hours.
Indoor attractions for all ages
Other kid-approved attractions also feature in the holiday lineup. The YouPlay play area offers structured spaces and age-appropriate activities.
The list includes Arena Trampolim, with trampolines, slides, a zip line and a foam pit; Meta Kart, described as Rio’s most modern track; Meta Bowling; Game Station, with arcade games and party areas; and Cinemark, with the season’s main releases.
Dining with kids’ areas
For families meeting up during the break, Camarada Camarão is presented as a go-to choice, pairing a generous menu with an exclusive in-restaurant kids’ play area. While children play safely, adults can enjoy their meal with fewer interruptions.
The mall also points to kids’ meal options at Outback, Balada Mix, Delírio Tropical and Gallo da Vila, plus classic fast food choices like McDonald’s, Bob’s and Burger King. To wrap up the visit, dessert stops include ice cream, milkshakes and sweets.
