The Memorial da América Latina hosts the Neo Norte 5.0 finale on Sunday, January 18, from 11 AM to 3 PM. Highlights include the official publication unveiling and a tango performance by André & Andressa.
Curated by Chilean artist Tere Chad, the project debuts in Brazil. Venue: Galeria Marta Traba, Av. Mário de Andrade, 664, Barra Funda, São Paulo.
Global South as creative hub
Neo Norte flips art hierarchies by centering the Global South. Drawing from Joaquín Torres García, it blends contemporary art, ancestral practices, and sustainability. Women lead collaborative works.
The exhibit fills Galeria Marta Traba and outdoor spaces with installations, embroidery, textile upcycling, and performances. Open to the public until January 18, free entry.
