A program backed by the industry
Launched in 2009, NYC Off-Broadway Week is presented in partnership with The Off-Broadway League. Organizers highlight the initiative as a way to broaden access and put a spotlight on productions that help drive New York’s cultural economy beyond Broadway.
“NYC Off-Broadway Week is an extraordinary opportunity for audiences to experience and celebrate the creativity that forms the cultural foundation of New York,” said Joey Monda, President of The Off-Broadway League. “NYC Tourism remains one of our most engaged partners in highlighting the incredible work being done Off-Broadway, supporting artists, producers, and theatres that are the heart of New York’s theatre community.”
