Marco Nanini and Fafy Siqueira will be honored at the Humor Awards: Rio on 3/16 and São Paulo on 3/23.
Comedian and TV host Fabio Porchat is gearing up for another year of the awards he created and has run since 2017. The prize spotlights comedy theatre artists and productions staged in Brazil’s two biggest cultural hubs, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. A specialist jury selects winners in Text, Performance, Direction, Show, and Special categories.
Beyond the competitive categories, the Humor Awards also pays tribute to two standout comedy figures each year. In 2026, São Paulo will honor Fafy Siqueira, while Rio de Janeiro celebrates Marco Nanini.

Porchat says his own comedic voice was influenced by what he watched on TV and experienced on stage, mentioning “TV Pirata” and Siqueira’s iconic impressions. “They both have powerful, strong work, and at the same time they’re very different,” he adds. “Humor deserves to be celebrated!”
