After ten years, “Human Bodies – Wonders of the Human Body” returns to Fortaleza with a renewed collection and immersive gallery at Iguatemi Bosque.
Seen by more than 40 million people worldwide, the international exhibition arrives at Iguatemi Bosque Mall on March 30 for a limited season. It features nine full human bodies and around one hundred real organs preserved through the plastination technique, which halts decomposition and allows visitors to explore human anatomy in remarkable detail.
Since its last visit in 2016, the show has been updated with an immersive room of exclusive visual projections and a new animal body section that invites comparisons between species. Highlights include bodies displayed in dynamic, athletic poses — such as the acrobat and the tennis player — and even the dissected body featured in the film 007 – Casino Royale.
The exhibition’s galleries guide visitors through the human body systems — skeletal, muscular, and circulatory — revealing the intricate mechanisms that sustain life while illustrating the impact of diseases and unhealthy habits like smoking and obesity.
“The exhibition is a tribute to the most precious thing we have: life,” says Lúcio Oliveira, director of Smart Mix Brasil.
