Recreio Shopping expands over 1,000 m² and adds new gastronomy, fashion, wellness and service stores by 2026.
Keeping up with the rapid development of Rio’s Southwest Zone, Recreio Shopping is undergoing a new phase of expansion and modernization. The mall will increase its area by more than 1,000 square meters and will welcome new operations in gastronomy, fashion, wellness and services by early 2026.
“We are writing a new chapter in our history, reaffirming our commitment to providing the best experiences for our customers,” said the mall’s superintendent, Leandro Almeida.
Confirmed new openings
Among the confirmed new stores are Avatim, a fragrance brand, and My Look, focused on children’s fashion. They will join the mall’s more than 115 existing operations and other upcoming openings.
In the wellness segment, Velocity + Tonus Gym + Vidya will occupy a 320 m² space offering indoor cycling and yoga classes. In the beauty sector, Monamie Cosméticos will open a 120 m² store featuring a curated selection of national and international brands.
Gastronomy expansion
In gastronomy, Oki Oka, a 200 m² Japanese restaurant, will combine tradition and innovation. Baixo Araguaia, specializing in premium meats and Brazilian regional cuisine, will also open a 170 m² space.
Additionally, the mall welcomes major names such as Coco Bambu, one of Brazil’s most recognized restaurant chains, and Do Batista, which focuses on Brazilian ingredients and contemporary techniques. Another highlight is Bacio di Latte, which will move from a kiosk to a 70 m² store, offering a more complete and welcoming experience.
