Instead of watching from a distance, audiences step inside the narrative. The project is hybrid: it works with a VR headset, but it also plays normally in any browser.

ROCK SP 360° and a 360° VR experience

Built with 360° VR technology, the interactive documentary offers a sensory dive into rock made in São Paulo—from the 1960s to today. As a result, interviews feel more immediate, like you’re sharing the same room.

It’s also free to access, which helps bring this chapter of Brazilian pop culture to new audiences without barriers.

Guitarists lead the journey through São Paulo rock

The story is guided by musicians who helped shape the scene: Luiz Carlini and Lucinha Turnbull (Tutti Frutti), Faiska (Joelho de Porco), and Kleber K. Shima (Hot Rocks). Sérgio Hinds (O Terço) serves as the presenter, tying the memories to a broader musical context.

With immersive interviews at the core, the format highlights rock as living heritage—experienced, not just remembered.

Interactive timeline and a special São Paulo recording

Beyond the interviews, the documentary features an interactive timeline to map key eras and shifts. In addition, it includes footage from a special show recorded in São Paulo, blending performance with preservation.

Supported by Fomento CULTSP – PNAB, ROCK SP 360° treats virtual reality as a cultural bridge—and rock as a piece of pop heritage worth revisiting.
