Artist Sandra Gonçalves unveils farewell secrets in guided tours of ‘Tessituras do Adeus’ exhibit at Centro Cultural Correios RJ, open until March 14.
She hosts “Meet the Artist” sessions on February 3 and 28, and March 14, starting at 3:30 PM. Curated by Letícia Lau, the show dives into life’s complexities and mortality.
Weavings of the Ephemeral
Each image blends Sandra’s personal photos with digital finds, crafting hybrid works that defy time and invite deep narrative immersion on transience.
The exhibit unfolds in three parts: spider webs as time metaphors; scenes of change, waiting, and fragility; ethereal shots of finitude and transcendence.
“Tessituras do Adeus” turns the exhibit into an immersive journey confronting our mortality and legacies. Sandra invites us to ponder humanity’s essence.”
