São Paulo hosts the first Natal para o Bem concert

Natal para o Bem holds a free symphonic concert on November 20 at Praça Charles Miller, featuring Andrea Bocelli and top artists.

The city of São Paulo hosts the first edition of Natal para o Bem – Symphonic Concert, a free event that opens the Christmas season. Created and produced by Dançar Marketing, the concert takes place on November 20, Brazil’s Black Awareness Day holiday, celebrating solidarity, music and the Christmas spirit.

Orchestras and Christmas repertoire

The performance brings together the Theatro São Pedro Orchestra, the EMESP Tom Jobim Orchestra and Choir, the Guri Children’s Choir, the Canto Livre Davide Carbone Choir and the Del Chiaro Choir and Orchestra. Artistic direction is by Ruriá Duprat, Grammy Award-winning Brazilian maestro and composer.

During the event, a 21-meter Christmas tree will be illuminated to the sound of traditional carols, creating a show of lights and emotion. The tree will remain lit every night until January 6, 2026, the Epiphany holiday.

Celebrated voices on stage

The open-air stage at Praça Charles Miller will feature performances by Simone, Paula Lima, Tony Gordon, Ivan Lins and Valentina Lassi. The evening will culminate with Andrea Bocelli, conducted by Carlo Bernini, performing handpicked Christmas classics.

Faith and solidarity

The event begins at 6:30 p.m., preceded by a Word Celebration – Luminous Rosary led by Cardinal Dom Odilo Pedro Scherer. Music during the celebration will be performed by the Del Chiaro Choir and Orchestra under the direction of Danillo Del Chiaro.

“Natal para o Bem is a gift to the city and becomes part of São Paulo’s Christmas calendar. It’s a moment of connection and emotion,” says Pedro Bianco, president of Dançar Marketing.

How to participate

Free tickets are available at www.natalparaobem.com.br starting at 12 p.m. on November 12. Each person may withdraw one personal, non-transferable ticket. Visitors can also make voluntary donations during registration, which will support Cruz Vermelha de São Paulo in providing toys, food baskets and hygiene kits.
