Hundreds of synchronized drones and a live string quartet turn Parque Villa-Lobos into an immersive stage on April 3 and 4, 2026.
What do Antonio Vivaldi and Heitor Villa-Lobos have in common with hundreds of drones lighting up the night sky? At first glance, nothing. Yet that unlikely meeting is exactly what shapes the DroneArt Show, an experience brought to São Paulo by Fever on April 3 and 4, 2026.
Music you can watch
The DroneArt Show reimagines how audiences experience classical music: instead of simply listening, viewers watch compositions take shape in the sky. Hundreds of drones perform luminous aerial choreographies in perfect sync with a live string quartet playing works by iconic composers. The concept echoes Vivaldi’s own genius for turning nature into sound — as in The Four Seasons — now flipping the equation by turning music into image.
The repertoire reaches beyond the Baroque era. Works such as Swan Lake by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky gain new dimensions when translated into shapes, colors, and movement across the night sky. With every chord, the drones redraw the horizon in real time.
A stage called Parque Villa-Lobos
The choice of venue carries powerful symbolism. The show takes place at Parque Villa-Lobos, named after Heitor Villa-Lobos, one of the greatest composers in Brazilian history. The setting reinforces the dialogue between past and future, between classical tradition and urban innovation.
Fever, the world’s leading technology platform for discovering live entertainment and culture, brings DroneArt Show to Brazil as part of a global movement to reinvent classical concerts — making them more immersive, accessible, and visually connected with contemporary audiences.
Three experiences, one sky
The DroneArt Show format includes three standalone productions. In São Paulo, the featured experience is DroneArt Show: The Four Seasons, pairing the live string quartet with breathtaking aerial drone choreographies set to Vivaldi and Tchaikovsky. The other two formats — Harry Potter™, created in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, and Space Chase, a family-friendly intergalactic adventure — round out the project’s universe.
If composers once made audiences imagine scenes through music, have we entered an era where music can finally be seen?
With its strong visual appeal and innovative use of drone technology, the show also points to new possibilities in urban entertainment, blending art, technological innovation, and more sustainable approaches to large-scale live productions.
