Ziggy & Miles open the 2026 season at Teatro Iguatemi

The Australian guitar duo Ziggy & Miles opens the Iguatemi Series with Cultura Artística on March 16 at Teatro Iguatemi São Paulo.

Recognized as two of the finest guitarists of their generation, the brothers perform at 8 p.m. with a repertoire that highlights their refined technique and musical sensitivity. Winners of the prestigious Young Concert Artists Susan Wadsworth International Auditions in 2023, they have become global standouts in the classical guitar scene.

The duo has earned awards at the Guitar Foundation of America, Adelaide International Guitar Festival, and Melbourne Recital Centre. Their album Sidekick (2023) was named one of the year’s best classical releases by New York’s WQXR radio, praised for its precision and contemporary interpretation.

The collaboration between Iguatemi São Paulo and Cultura Artística highlights a commitment to classical music and artistic diversity. Other 2026 season highlights include The Heritage Duo Ensemble—pianist Lígia Moreno and trombonist Darrin C. Milling—and the Hamilton de Holanda Trio, winner of the 2025 Latin Grammy for Best Latin Jazz Album.
