The Império Serrano samba queen hosted a joyful afternoon on Saturday (04), bringing together children from the Serrinha community and members of Império do Futuro, the first children’s samba school in Rio’s Carnival history.

Supported by Shopping Madureira, the event featured the mascot Maduzinha and a recreation team, who animated the celebration with fun activities and laughter. The children enjoyed chocolate giveaways and dynamic games that strengthened local bonds.

“It was a lively afternoon filled with chocolate, games, and joy with the little ones. Being with these children at our court, sharing happiness and affection, is very special. They represent the future of our samba,” said Quitéria Chagas.

The initiative highlights the artist’s commitment to social impact and the power of samba as a force for transformation in Rio’s communities.
