Three groundbreaking categories shake up the 13th Brazil Wine Challenge: orange wines, low-alcohol, and dealcoholized options debut with OIV backing, drawing global wineries until April 17.
Global novelties in South America’s top contest
The Brazil Wine Challenge, hosted by the Brazilian Association of Enology (ABE), opens online entries until April 17. Endorsed by OIV and the American Association of Enologists, it features 19 categories total.
These additions tap into worldwide shifts toward lighter drinks. Orange wines, dealcoholized beverages, and reduced-alcohol vintages meet rising demand for fresh profiles.
The Brazil Wine Challenge has solidified as a technical and strategic showcase for wines from diverse origins.
ABE President Mário Lucas Ieggli praises the event. Following 2024 records, he anticipates even broader international turnout.
