One of Bahia’s biggest Christian gatherings

The second edition of Salvador em Adoração brought together an estimated 30,000 people at Praça de Piatã, in Salvador, on Saturday (March 7). The free, open-air event filled the square with an afternoon and night of worship, fellowship, and Christian faith celebration.

Organized by Apostle Tenisson Rodrigues, president of the Association of Evangelical Ministers of Brazil (Ame Brasil), the festival received cultural support from the Salvador city government. Church convoys and believers traveled from neighborhoods across the city and from towns throughout the metropolitan area.

The audience enjoyed performances by Bruna Karla, Sandro Nazireu, Samuel Eleotério, and the group Morada — all leading figures in Brazil’s contemporary gospel music scene. The diverse lineup reflected the event’s ecumenical spirit, bringing together believers from across different evangelical churches and communities.

The organizer’s vision

“It was a very special moment for all of us. Seeing thousands of people gathered with one purpose — worshipping God and celebrating faith — moves us deeply. Salvador em Adoração was created precisely to strengthen the fellowship of the evangelical community and to offer families a space for encounter, praise, and hope.” — Apostle Tenisson Rodrigues, president of Ame Brasil and event organizer

For Tenisson Rodrigues, the growth achieved in this second edition confirms that Salvador em Adoração has firmly established itself in the state’s religious and cultural landscape. He also expressed the ambition to have the festival formally added to Salvador’s official cultural calendar.

“Today we can say with great joy that Salvador em Adoração has become one of the largest Christian events in the state. Our desire is for it to keep growing and to be officially included in Salvador’s cultural calendar, so we can continue bringing thousands of people together in a moment of faith and connection with God through worship.” — Apostle Tenisson Rodrigues, president of Ame Brasil and event organizer
