Marcio Kogan, Arthur Casas and Bruno de Carvalho unveiled Meu Brasil Brasileiro at a 55design event in São Paulo’s Jardins district.
On Wednesday afternoon (11), 55design hosted a special gathering at its showroom in Jardins to present the new capsule collection. The launch brought together architects, designers and industry guests for a close look at the new pieces and the ideas behind them.
Meu Brasil Brasileiro puts Brazilian design forward
The Meu Brasil Brasileiro collection was created by Marcio Kogan, Arthur Casas and Bruno de Carvalho. The pieces offer a contemporary reading of Brazilian identity. In turn, they draw on nature, organic forms and the landscape legacy of Roberto Burle Marx.
According to the concept presented during the event, the collection highlights materials, textures and the authorial language of Brazilian design. As a result, the launch reinforces a furniture vision that connects tradition, innovation and cultural identity.
55design gathers leading names in architecture
Guests included Alexandre Del Fabbro, Mariana Tanajura, Marília Pellegrini, Edo Rocha, Renné Fernandes, Diana Radomysler, Tânia Eustáquio, Gustavo and Carol Filgueiras, Matheus Gait, Marta Sá, Cristina Ferraz and Marina Linhares. During the event, they explored the new creations and spoke with the designers behind the collection.
Ticiana Villas Boas, the brand’s CEO and founder, welcomed attendees throughout the afternoon. The setting underscored the dialogue between architecture, art and design, while also highlighting the brand’s effort to champion original Brazilian design.
55design grows with its own factory
Founded in June 2020, 55design specializes in contemporary Brazilian furniture. The company develops exclusive products with a team of 17 designers under the curation of Clarissa Schneider, while Ticiana Villas Boas closely oversees the brand’s creative and technical process.
In 2024, the company opened its first factory in Campinas to bring 100% of production under one roof. That move aimed to ensure even more quality, speed and exclusivity across its collections. The brand’s concept store is located on Alameda Gabriel Monteiro da Silva in São Paulo, in a space designed by Studio Arthur Casas.
