On December 31, Ana Petkovic performs at Palco Sesc RJ, blending international pop and funk carioca in a three-act show.
The Palco Sesc RJ, set up at the iconic Piscinão de Ramos, will host one of Brazil’s most electrifying year-end celebrations. Singer, songwriter, and musician Ana Petkovic takes the stage with her original production “Show da Virada”, structured in three acts, merging the elegance of international pop with the pulse of funk carioca.
Born in Madrid and based in Rio de Janeiro, Ana masters piano and guitar, sings in four languages, and brings a unique artistic identity. Daughter of football idol Dejan Petkovic, she has built her career independently, combining Brazilian energy with discipline and stage precision, now entering a visually bold phase aimed at the global market.
Powerful collaborations
Ana’s rise in the pop-funk scene is backed by notable partnerships. She has collaborated with MC GW on “Calma aí” and with MC K9 on “Quem é o Brabão”, aligning herself with leading figures in the genre. For New Year’s Eve, she presents her new single “Não Vai Ter no Carnaval”, produced by Hitzin (Hitmaker), one of Brazil’s main pop producers.
A show in three acts
Designed as a visual and rhythmic narrative, the show unfolds in three moments:
ACT I – Lâmia: a magnetic awakening focused on feminine energy and seduction.
ACT II – The Fusion: the harmonic clash of global technique and urban soul, where pop and funk unite.
ACT III – Brazilian Soul: a cathartic finale celebrating the arrival of 2026 with the new summer single release.
Backed by Dance Maré, a leading urban dance collective from Rio, Ana delivers high-impact choreography and commanding stage presence. “My mission is to create the best New Year’s Eve of our lives. This is the time to show the maturity of this work. We’re ready to energize the summer with a full schedule and plenty of rhythm,” says the artist.
