Andradas Festival mixes coffee, cuisine and tourism

The festival turns Andradas into a national coffee hub with tastings, championships and rural experiences from May 1 to 3.From May 1 to 3, 2026, the city of Andradas, in southern Minas Gerais, will host the 4th edition of the Andradas Coffee Festival. The free event combines specialty coffees, gastronomy, culture, and tourism, celebrating the city’s recent recognition as a Gastronomic City at the 2025 Cumbucca Awards.Mayor Margot Navarro Graziani Pioli highlights that the festival reinforces Andradas as a key destination for Brazilian coffee culture. “It brings together the best of our region: specialty coffees, wine, gastronomy and tourism experiences,” she said.

Championships and immersive experiences

Program highlights include the Aeropress Brazilian Championship – Minas Stage and the Regional Roasting Championship by Atilla, alongside workshops, lectures, a specialty coffee fair and a cooking show. The Aeropress method, known for producing rich and aromatic cups, will determine competitors who move on to the national finals.The event is organized by the City of Andradas with Ativa Cafés Especiais, ACAFEG, and several partners. Curator Ulisses Oliveira explains: “Our goal is to show coffee as an experience, not only a product, connecting visitors to the essence of this land.”
