Regina Casé, Jorge Aragão, BK, and L7NNON joined cultural leaders at Copacabana Palace to celebrate representation and Black empowerment.
The iconic Copacabana Palace hosted the first 2026 edition of the Jantar Preto, an event dedicated to honoring Black excellence and creative influence in Brazil. Among the guests were Regina Casé, Jorge Aragão, BK’, L7NNON, Bella Campos, Juliana Alves and Érika Januza, together with founders Bárbara Brito, Levis Novaes and Kevin David.
Created in 2023, the event travels through major Brazilian capitals to connect professionals and celebrate narratives that strengthen Black visibility in high-profile spaces. The Rio edition combined elegance, cultural pride, and emotional connection in a powerful statement of unity.
“Each edition of Jantar Preto reinforces the strength of our networks and celebrates the stories and trajectories that build the country’s cultural legacy,” said Bárbara Brito, the event’s president.
The evening also included a tribute to the TV series A Nobreza do Amor, which highlights African kingdoms, ancestral ties, and the pursuit of justice and love through history.
