Named Brazil’s best themed cruise by the Krooze Awards, Dançando a Bordo reaches its 21st edition aboard Costa Diadema. Guests can board in Itajaí on March 14, 2026, or in Santos on March 15, 2026, joining a long-running format built around dance, social time, and community on board.

Río de la Plata itinerary

While the ship cruises the Río de la Plata region, the itinerary includes Buenos Aires and Montevideo. That mix of ports and onboard programming is what makes the trip feel like both a vacation and a dance immersion.

Over 120 dance activities

The full schedule is curated by Mônica Steinwascher and Théo Mazzini. There are more than 120 activities, designed for different skill levels and dance styles, with special classes and onboard-only experiences throughout the seven nights.

Styles range from ballroom, tango, and milonga to salsa, bachata, cha-cha-cha, and zouk. The lineup also brings in samba gafieira, soltinho, merengue, sertanejo, bolero, waltz, zumba, forró, samba rock, lindy hop, vanera, and samba no .

In addition, guests can join stretching and pilates sessions, plus festivals and social dance parties. Specialist teachers and DJs lead the program, keeping the energy high and the dance floor active across the whole sailing.

Carlinhos de Jesus and Ana Botafogo onboard

This edition also features two major Brazilian dance figures: choreographer Carlinhos de Jesus and ballerina Ana Botafogo. They will take part in meet-and-greet style moments and special onboard events.

“Dançando a Bordo is a success story. We’ve reached the 21st edition of a cruise designed to deliver high-quality themed experiences for guests looking for leisure, fun, and a welcoming environment to make new friends.”

The statement comes from Ruy Ribeiro, Commercial Director of Costa Cruises in Brazil. According to the company, the cruise can be purchased in up to 12 interest-free installments by credit card on Costa’s website, and via Costa Extra for travel agencies.
