Terraço Notiê por Priceless has launched a recurring cultural program at its Music Room, dedicated to intentional listening and Brazilian music. Every Friday at 7 PM, the space welcomes a guest artist — and the second edition is already generating buzz.

DJ Carlu and the world of vinyl

On March 20, the spotlight falls on DJ Carlu, the force behind the Mulheres na Cultura do Vinil (Women in Vinyl Culture) project. A DJ and passionate record collector, she is celebrated for sets that move effortlessly between 1960s classics, danceable MPB, samba, forró, and global grooves — always centered on the shared energy of the dance floor.

A feminist and advocate for representation in DJing, Carlu founded the Mulheres na Cultura do Vinil research initiative and co-founded the Uh!ManasTV collective, which supports women DJs and music producers in Brazil.

Her work extends into education as well: through the Disco é Brinquedo (“Records Are Toys”) project, she introduces children to the culture of vinyl, nurturing future generations of music lovers.

A listening bar in historic São Paulo

The Music Room draws inspiration from Japanese listening bars — intimate spaces designed for attentive listening, equipped with high-quality audio systems. It can operate independently or as part of the larger bar complex, making it a versatile cultural venue.

Opened in 2021, Terraço Notiê por Priceless has become a hub for gastronomic and cultural experiences in São Paulo’s Historic Center. In June 2025, the current management unified previous brands — Abaru and Priceless — under one name. The venue features modular spaces, a terrace overlooking the Historic Center, and a viewpoint facing downtown.

A feminist and advocate for representation in DJing, DJ Carlu founded Mulheres na Cultura do Vinil and co-founded the Uh!ManasTV collective, which supports women DJs and music producers.
