Drogasil, the pharmacy chain owned by Brazilian health group RD Saúde, is the official sponsor of Corre CBX, a street race scheduled for Sunday, April 5, in the Cidade Baixa neighborhood of Salvador, Bahia. The race starts at 6 a.m. at Mercado Modelo (Praça Visconde de Cayru) and is expected to draw around 2,000 runners, from seasoned athletes to first-timers.
Participants can choose between 5K and 10K routes through some of the area’s most iconic streets, underscoring the event’s mission to make running more accessible across the city.
A medal that remembers your time
The highlight of Drogasil’s presence at the race will be an exclusive branded tent where runners can get their official finish time engraved on their medals — completely free of charge. The initiative turns a standard race memento into a personalized keepsake tied to each athlete’s performance.
This marks the second street race sponsored by Drogasil in Salvador this year. The first was the Corre Carnaval Folia Drogasil, held earlier in 2026 during the city’s Carnival season.
Health beyond the pharmacy shelf
The initiative is part of a broader RD Saúde strategy to expand the brand’s presence into wellness and lifestyle spaces. By sponsoring community-driven sporting events, the company aims to build stronger, more meaningful relationships with consumers — particularly in key markets like Salvador.
