Throughout March, Carioca Shopping celebrates Women’s Month with the 8th edition of Empodera Ela, boosting female entrepreneurs and offering free Senac courses.
The 8th edition of Empodera Ela, created by ALLOS, turns Carioca Shopping into a vibrant space for women who transform their communities through innovation and creativity. Running from March 5 to 31, the project reaffirms the mall’s commitment to promote women’s entrepreneurship.
The highlight is the collaborative store on the first floor near Praça Carioca, featuring five local entrepreneurs: Fabiana Guimarães (Meninas Coloridas, @meninasscoloridas), Marcia Galvão (Ateliê Marcia Galvão, @atelie_marciagalvao), Luanna da Silva (Mimo Meu Papelaria, @mimomeu.papelaria), Jéssica Diocesano (Alumbre Produtos Artesanais, @alumbre.pa), and Gisele da Silva (Te & Quel Laços e Acessórios, @teequellacos). All sales revenue goes directly to the creators, supporting local brands and strengthening community businesses.
In partnership with Senac, ALLOS is also offering 150 free spots in the Women Entrepreneurs Program, which provides practical training in business strategy, digital marketing, finance, and leadership to help women grow their ventures.
“The collaborative store is more than a sales space; it’s a showcase of inspiring stories, autonomy, and income generation,” says Michelle Coutinho, marketing manager at Carioca Shopping.
Launched in 2019, Empodera Ela goes beyond symbolic tributes to March 8. The project highlights the need for practical support and visibility to build a more inclusive and equal society.
