Sold-out crowd, Leonardo’s emotional return and Natanzinho Lima’s debut: Brazil’s ExpoLondrina 2026 kicked off in style.
The 64th ExpoLondrina opened on Friday (April 10) to a packed house at Parque Governador Ney Braga in Londrina, Paraná state. The night brought together two artists from different musical worlds — sertanejo legend Leonardo and forró phenomenon Natanzinho Lima — in what became one of the most talked-about openings in the event’s history.
Leonardo brings down the house
A cornerstone of Brazilian country music, Leonardo took the stage with the confidence of a veteran and the warmth of someone genuinely happy to be back. He revisited career highlights and openly expressed his joy at the crowd’s reception.
“So many beautiful people — I’ve never seen so many gorgeous people in one place! It’s so good to be back in Londrina, I’m so happy to be here once again.” — Leonardo
Natanzinho Lima makes his ExpoLondrina debut
Currently one of the hottest names in Brazilian forró, Natanzinho Lima made his first appearance at ExpoLondrina wearing the signature hat that has become his trademark. Despite being his debut at the festival, he found a crowd that already knew every word.
“Being at ExpoLondrina for the first time with a sold-out show makes me feel even happier to sing here.” — Natanzinho Lima
Celebrities turn out for opening night
The event also drew prominent names from Brazilian media and entertainment. Renowned sports broadcaster Galvão Bueno attended alongside Desirée Soares, while influencers Gustavo Tubarão, Gabriel Vetuche, Filipe Figueiredo, Carol Bondariw and Marina Fabris were also spotted in the crowd.
Felipe Paiva, head of business at Grupo DVT, the company behind ExpoLondrina, summed up the night: “ExpoLondrina started with everything! It was an incredible night with major artists and we are very happy with the success, with our regional audience and with all the celebrities who came to celebrate with us. We can’t wait for the next days of the first leg of the Circuito Sertanejo.”
Full lineup through April 19
Marking 64 years of history, ExpoLondrina continues with a diverse schedule blending sertanejo, pagode, gospel and bull riding. On Saturday (April 11), Gusttavo Lima and Lorena Cristine headline. On Sunday (April 12), pagode group Sorriso Maroto takes the Sunset stage starting at 5 PM.
From April 16 to 19, the arena also hosts PBR Brazil bull riding competitions, celebrating the organization’s 20th anniversary in the country and returning to ExpoLondrina after nearly a decade away.
