Fairmont Rio is honored by ABRAMMIL with the Civic Military Merit Diploma and Medal for its community contributions.
The Fairmont Rio de Janeiro was honored with the Civic Military Merit Diploma and Medal, granted by the Brazilian Academy of Military Medalistics (ABRAMMIL). The recognition highlights the hotel’s civic contribution and its services to Brazilian society. Netto Moreira, luxury cluster general manager, received the distinction on behalf of the hotel.

For this reason, the hotel remains attentive to the needs of its surroundings, promoting partnerships and supporting actions that benefit the city. This commitment led the Copacabana hotel to once again receive recognition from ABRAMMIL.
The award ceremony took place on Friday, November 21, 2025. During the event, Netto Moreira, luxury cluster general manager of the Accor Group in Rio de Janeiro, received the medal from Colonel Alexandre Roberto da Silva, Commander of the Forte de Copacabana and Director of the Army Historical Museum.
