On March 28, CelebraRio – II Evangelizar é Preciso fills Rio’s Maracanãzinho arena with Mass, adoration, and live evangelization. Free entry.
Rio de Janeiro is gearing up to host one of Brazil’s largest Catholic gatherings. The iconic Maracanãzinho arena will be transformed into a space of prayer, music, and faith, led by Father Reginaldo Manzotti, one of the country’s most prominent Catholic evangelizers.
A full day of faith and music
Doors open at noon, and the lineup features prominent figures from the Catholic Church. Cardinal Dom Orani Tempesta will be in attendance, alongside the Banda DOM. The Holy Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Dom Gilson Andrade da Silva, followed by Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and an evangelization concert with Father Manzotti himself.
The event is organized by the Associação Evangelizar É Preciso and the RCC – Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Rio de Janeiro. It aims to offer a deep spiritual experience through prayer, music, and the Word of God. Attendees are expected from across the state and other parts of Brazil.
Sold-out debut fuels second edition
The first edition of CelebraRio, held in 2025, sold out completely and drew thousands of faithful to a day filled with powerful moments of faith. That overwhelming response made a second edition inevitable — and this year’s program is even more ambitious.
The Evangelizar é Preciso project was born from Father Reginaldo Manzotti’s evangelizing mission and has since become one of Brazil’s largest initiatives of Catholic outreach, drawing crowds in cities across the country.
Evangelizar é Preciso is nationally recognized for mobilizing crowds across Brazilian cities, carrying a message of hope, solidarity, and spiritual renewal.
Giving back to the community
Solidarity is woven into the fabric of the event. All registered participants are encouraged to bring one kilogram of non-perishable food on March 28. Donations will be distributed to partner institutions of RCC RJ.
