Cozinhalimento’s mobile unit provides free panettone and holiday dinner workshops from December 2 to 19 in Paraisópolis.
The São Paulo State Government, through the Department of Agriculture and Supply (SAA), in partnership with G10 Favelas, brings the Cozinhalimento truck to Paraisópolis for three weeks of professional training and income generation focused on the Christmas season.
Held at the G10 Pavilion, the courses are free and open to the public, with registration available both online and on-site. The classes are designed for small entrepreneurs, informal workers and families seeking new business opportunities for the holidays. Participants will learn how to prepare traditional panettones and festive dishes with food safety and entrepreneurial guidance.
A traveling kitchen for social impact
Launched in November, the 20-meter-long Cozinhalimento truck features a professional kitchen that accommodates up to 30 students. The program combines theory and practice with modules on nutrition, hygiene and Christmas recipes. So far, the mobile unit has reached Cajamar, Franco da Rocha and Caieiras, benefiting over 500 residents in its first cycle.
With R$3.3 million in investment, the initiative aims to train more than 5,000 people by the end of 2026. Since its creation, Cozinhalimento has installed 258 teaching kitchens throughout São Paulo State, with a total investment of R$25.5 million.
