Artist Lia Berbet paints live from visitors’ emotions at Entre Encontros, which also unveils new pieces from the Louvre-exhibited Choronas show.
Art, emotion, and connection under one roof
Recreio Shopping hosts the inaugural edition of Entre Encontros on March 20, 2026 — a free event that invites visitors into a sensory experience where art, emotion, and interaction converge. The centerpiece of the program is a live painting session by visual artist and muralist Lia Berbet, who will create a work in real time inspired by the emotions shared by the audience throughout the day.
The concept behind the event is rooted in the idea that happiness is not an isolated feeling, but part of a broader emotional landscape. Entre Encontros brings together different perspectives and forms of expression, turning the shopping center into a space of artistic connection.

Watch a painting come to life
Lia Berbet’s live painting runs from noon to 8 PM in the shopping center’s new gallery, with free admission. Visitors can follow the entire creative process in real time, becoming indirect participants in the work’s construction.
Painting live creates a very special exchange with the audience. There is a genuine interest in the work while it is still in progress, before it fully reveals itself. Even without changing the direction of the piece, that direct and immediate contact makes the experience very rich — and for me, always very positive — Lia Berbet, visual artist and muralist.
Wine, personalization, and creativity combined
The program also features the “Wine Bottle Painting Experience”, organized in partnership with Wine Mix Rio. Combining wine tasting and hands-on art, sessions run at 5 PM, 6 PM, and 7 PM, with each group limited to six participants. Every attendee personalizes their own bottle to take home as a keepsake. The activity costs R$ 40 per person.
A Louvre-exhibited show closes the night
At 8 PM, the spotlight turns to new pieces from the “Choronas” exhibition by artist Juliana Reis, currently on display at the shopping center. Notably, the show features works that were recently exhibited at the Musée du Louvre in Paris, adding significant cultural weight to the event.
