Writer José Sarney relaunches three notable books in a free event at the ABL, Rio de Janeiro, on November 27 at 4 PM.
Collection brings together emblematic works
The collection includes O dono do mar, Saraminda, and A duquesa vale uma missa, the latter featuring a previously unpublished ending in the new edition, published by Principis (Ciranda Cultural).
The relaunch will begin with a session at the ABL honoring the author. Admission is free, and books will be available for purchase on site.
Author’s career
An immortal of the Brazilian Academy of Letters, José Sarney is recognized for short stories, chronicles, essays, and novels. O dono do mar has a film adaptation and translations into multiple languages.
The Rio relaunch marks the collection’s debut for the local audience, following an event in São Paulo, and precedes presentations in Brasília and São Luís (MA).
