LOBA Festival opens free ticket distribution in São Paulo

LOBA Festival opens free tickets for its three-day literary event, taking place December 12–14 in São Paulo.

The LOBA Festival began distributing tickets last Friday (14) for its 2025 edition. The event, dedicated to Literatures and Works by Women Authors, will be held from December 12 to 14 in São Paulo and will close the year’s major literary calendar. Free tickets can already be requested online.

The festival will take place at the Edifício Oswald de Andrade, a cultural complex located near Tiradentes subway station.

Program and guest authors

The three-day schedule includes panels, lectures, conversation circles and networking spaces for authors, publishers and cultural producers. The lineup features notable Brazilian writers such as Aline Bei, Lilia Guerra, Amara Moira and Bel Gil.

A total of 17 authors will be awarded for works in categories including poetry, cordel literature, fiction and unpublished manuscripts seeking a publisher.

Accreditation and press coverage

The festival also opened accreditation for content creators and specialized media. Applications can be submitted online and will undergo profile review.

Creative economy and reading incentives

The event will feature an area dedicated to creative economy initiatives and to promoting the reading of works written by Brazilian women. The space strengthens the festival’s mission to broaden visibility for contemporary female authors.

The LOBA Festival is supported by the Federal Government through the Aldir Blanc National Policy, and by the State Government of São Paulo through the Secretariat of Culture, Economy and Creative Industries, CULTSP funding and ProAC.
