Brazilian entrepreneur Luciano Hang welcomed German maestro Tomas Wohlschläger, leader of Munich’s official Oktoberfest band, in Brusque.
The meeting took place this Friday (20) at Havan’s headquarters in Brusque (SC). Tomas leads the Kirchdorfer Oktoberfest Band, the traditional ensemble that has played at the Hacker-Festzelt tent since 1994, one of the most famous spots at Oktoberfest Munich. The two first met last year during the festival in Germany, when Hang was invited on stage to join the band.
The maestro was accompanied by Gustavo Pórco, Alberto, and Sergeant Junckes. The group toured the company’s Distribution Center (CDH) and Administrative Headquarters, concluding the visit with lunch at the historic Casa Renaux.
“I was thrilled when I learned in Germany that Tomas already knew me. Having him here in Brusque is a great joy,” said Luciano Hang.
The Kirchdorfer Band has performed at Munich’s Oktoberfest for over 30 years, playing daily throughout the 16 days of festivities for crowds that can exceed ten thousand people in the tent.
Tomas Wohlschläger praised the hospitality and the impressive structure of Havan. “I was warmly welcomed by Luciano’s family and his team. The company’s organization and scale truly impressed me,” he said. Although he had previously visited Blumenau, this was his first time in Brusque, and he described the experience as “enchanting.”
