Olímpia, National Folklore Capital, gets invite to 2nd Reis Folias Encounter in Rio. January 29-30 event boosts cultural preservation and interstate ties.

Rio’s Culture and Creative Economy Secretariat invited secretary Priscila Foresti. It honors Olímpia’s folklore efforts. The city sustains over ten Reis Folias groups for 60 years.
At the event, Rio is named honoree for Olímpia’s 62nd Folklore Festival (FEFOL), August 1-9.
Cultural leadership
Mayor Geninho Zuliani welcomes the invite. He notes ongoing tradition policies. “It reinforces our preservation pledge”, he states.
“Olímpia values folklore. This participation strengthens our commitment”, said the mayor.

Priscila Foresti stresses exchange benefits. Reis Folias shape local history. The event promotes FEFOL visibility and cultural bonds.
“Presence builds ties and boosts FEFOL reach”, notes the secretary.
