Guaratuba Bridge Sets the Pace

The Guaratuba Bridge steals the show. Steep climbs flank the crossing. Flat stretches along Matinhos and Guaratuba beaches reward speed.

This mix demands smart pacing from the start. Runners face real tests early.

Elevation in Three Phases

The 42 km marathon opens with climb, drop, and another rise. A flat section follows. Mid-race brings a sharp uphill.

The finish flattens out completely. Perfect for a strong kick.

Confirmed Elevation Gains

5 km: 128 m 10 km: 202 m 21 km: 141 m 42 km: 232 m

Shorter races mirror the flow. 5 km and half marathon kick off steep and bridge-cross. 10 km balances loops.

Weather Demands Strategy

May humidity hits 85% on Paraná coast. Hydration rules long races.
