Latin America’s largest outdoor nautical event returns to Marina da Glória April 11–19 with family experiences and tickets already on sale.
The Rio Boat Show 2026 is gearing up for one of its most ambitious editions yet. For nine days, Marina da Glória in Rio de Janeiro will become the hub of the nautical world in Latin America, bringing together manufacturers, seasoned sailors, and curious newcomers around nearly 100 vessels from Brazilian and international shipyards.
Hands-on experiences for every level
The event goes far beyond a traditional boat expo. Visitors can try a scuba diving baptism in a 5-meter-deep tank, take a sailing trip across Guanabara Bay, watch a boat parade, join jet encounters, and test-drive different types of watercraft. Live music and a food court round out the experience for the whole family.
“There’s a perception that boating is limited to speedboats and yachts, but this world is much broader and more diverse. It also includes diving, sailing, other water sports, and simply the experience of being on the water,” says Thalita Vicentini, director of Boat Show Eventos.
“Rio Boat Show was designed to show that this sector is for everyone — for those who already sail, for those who want to start, and even for those who simply admire boats and are curious to explore this lifestyle up close. By living these experiences at the event, visitors realize they can also be part of this world.”

Náutica Talks: 40+ speakers over nine days
A highlight of this year’s edition is Náutica Talks, a lecture series featuring more than 40 nautical industry experts sharing insights and global experiences. Sessions run daily from 4 PM to 8 PM between April 11 and 19 — a rare chance for direct access to leading professionals and world-traveled sailors.
Aiming to surpass 30,000 visitors
The 2025 edition of the Rio Boat Show drew around 30,000 visitors. Organizers are confident the 2026 event will surpass that mark, fueled by an expanded program and growing public interest in Brazil’s nautical market. The show also serves as a key marketplace for those looking to buy their first vessel or upgrade to something larger.
“It’s also an opportunity for the public to discover the latest market offerings — whether you want to buy your first boat, make an upgrade, or simply explore the nautical world,” adds Thalita Vicentini.
