Shopping Light kicks off 2026 with a special Walking Tour for São Paulo’s birthday, highlighting the Historic Center through free guided walks on January 25.
Cultural revival in the city center
The Shopping Light, at the heart of the Historic Center, hosts two Walking Tour editions. The first took place on January 11, with the next on January 25 marking the city’s 472 years.
Guided tours uncover São Paulo’s history, architecture, and culture. They promote positive urban occupation and establish the mall as a starting point for cultural routes.
Lasting about three and a half hours, the walks link historic landmarks to daily life. This expands views of the Center as a vibrant, diverse area.
The Walking Tour invites people to experience São Paulo’s Center with calm, curiosity, and affection. By launching the year with this initiative, we position Shopping Light as an active part of the area, fostering culture, leisure, and belonging in the city’s heart.
