The Tattoo Week São Paulo 2025, the world’s largest tattoo festival, takes place from November 14 to 16 at Expo Center Norte. Spanning 22,000 m², the event will feature more than 3,500 exhibitors and around 5,000 tattoo artists and body piercers from Brazil and abroad. Entry on Friday (14) is free with the donation of 2 kg of non-perishable food (except salt and sugar), benefiting Casa de David.

Music, culture and inclusion

The three-day festival offers a vibrant music lineup featuring top national artists. Performers include Filipe Ret, MC Hariel, Fresno, Mato Seco, Day Limns, Gloria, and Budah. Friday (14) opens with reggae group Mato Seco, followed by rock and emocore on Saturday (15) and rap, funk and trap acts on Sunday (16).

The festival emphasizes accessibility and inclusion, offering free shuttle service between Tietê Metro Station and the venue, sign language interpreters, and a sensory room for visitors with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), open from 12 PM to 6 PM.

Miss and Mister Tattoo Week SP contest

One of the event’s highlights, the Miss and Mister Tattoo Week SP 2025 contest, celebrates the tattooed community’s attitude, style, and authenticity. A total of 22 finalists — 10 women and 12 men — were selected from over 100 applicants nationwide.

Tattoo competition and entertainment

The tattoo contest includes 32 categories, such as Realism, Black and Grey, Color, Watercolor, Fine Line, Oriental, Old School, Geometry, and Portrait, in addition to “Best of the Day” and “Best of the Event.”

The audience can also enjoy wrestling shows in the Telecatch style—paying homage to the circus roots of tattoo culture in Brazil.

On-screen presence and discussions on self-esteem

During the event, an episode of the Discovery Home & Health series “Sobre Essa Pele” will be filmed, featuring artists Raquel Gauthier and Margarita Sultanova. The duo will also give a lecture titled “Self-Esteem and Tattooing” on Friday (14) at 5 PM.

“Tattoo Week is much more than a meeting of artists and fans — it’s a celebration of art, diversity, and inclusion,” says Esther Gawendo, the event’s CEO.
