The Ziriguidum Food Fair hosts a special edition celebrating the 57th anniversary of the Ipanema Hippie Fair with samba, DJ and cultural performances.
A special Sunday is scheduled at General Osório Square. The Ipanema Hippie Fair reaches 57 years of history and tradition. Therefore, the Ziriguidum Food Fair prepared a commemorative edition for the date.
On November 30, starting at 10 a.m., the event celebrates more than five decades of one of Rio de Janeiro’s most iconic fairs. The program brings together music, gastronomy, and cultural activities.
Music program
The musical program begins at 11 a.m. with DJ Sanmy. He will set the mood for those who arrive early to enjoy the morning.
From 2 p.m. onward, the group Terreiro do Cantagalo leads the samba circle. The performance features traditional samba, a hallmark of the event.
Cultural performance
During the first break of the samba circle, children from the Cantagalo community take the stage. They present a performance from the Harmonicanto project.
The moment highlights the power of culture and music in social transformation. In addition, it brings different generations together through art.
Structure and environment
The event follows the same proposal as previous editions. The program includes quality food, cold beer, and live music throughout the day.
The relaxed atmosphere at General Osório Square welcomes the public. The space is suitable for visitors alone, with family, or with friends.
Children have access to a dedicated kids area. The event is also pet friendly, allowing pets to attend.
The Ipanema Hippie Fair has become a cultural symbol of the neighborhood and the city. Over 57 years, it has resisted time and reinvented itself.

The event is organized by Lanoz Events in partnership with the Ipanema Hippie Fair. It is supported by Gold da Cachaça and Rio Feirantes Association.
