From hit crime series to runway storytelling
Actor Fábio Nascimento, known for playing Federal Agent Gilson from the second season of “Arcanjo Renegado”, has been chosen as the face of Hermes Inocencio’s 2026 summer line. He will portray Mali’s king Mansa Musa in the collection titled “MANSA”.
This marks Fábio’s first experience as a fashion model in a professional photo shoot. In this way, he brings his on-screen intensity and physical presence to a new creative field that merges acting, style and visual narrative.
A career built on presence and range
Actor and entrepreneur, Fábio Nascimento lives one of the most significant phases of his artistic journey. With prominent roles in high-profile productions, he stands out for strong screen presence, physical commitment and emotional truth.
Born in Brasília (DF) and based in Rio de Janeiro since age 12, Fábio brings intensity, technique and authenticity to his performances. His life story, filled with diverse experiences, translates into a powerful gaze in front of the camera.
International background and multiple skills
At 18, Fábio moved to New York, broadening his worldview and strengthening his artistic vocation. Back in Brazil, he took part in the reality show “Hipertensão” (2002) and soon invested in professional training.
He trained at TV Globo’s Actors Workshop and completed the professional course at CAL (2004), in addition to studying with respected names such as Camila Amado, Cecil Thiré, Avancini and Celina Sodré. This foundation supports his detailed character work.
Standing 1.90 m tall, with strong physical conditioning and body control, Fábio brings together a rare skill set. He speaks English and Spanish, dances, practices boxing and jiu-jitsu (black belt), and is licensed to operate boats, buses and drones.
He also holds degrees in Aeronautical Sciences (Estácio de Sá) and Law (PUC-Rio), adding depth when portraying characters connected to operations, strategy and intelligence.
Film and streaming roles on the rise
Fábio currently stars in the feature “Kali – O Anjo Vingador”, available on Amazon Prime Video, with a pivotal, high-intensity performance. He is also part of the cast of “Jogo de Xadrez”, directed by Luiz Antônio Pereira, reinforcing his presence in contemporary Brazilian cinema.
On television, he enjoys a key moment with “Arcanjo Renegado”, a Globoplay original series. His character Gilson officially joins the plot in season two and steadily gains importance, becoming one of the highlights of the fourth season now on air.
The fifth season has already wrapped filming and is scheduled to premiere next year, marking another important step for Fábio’s participation in the show. He is also in the cast of “O Jogo Que Mudou a História”, a Globoplay series made with AfroReggae, which portrays Rio’s reality with intensity.
On the big screen, he appears in the new Mauricio de Sousa film, playing the sergeant who encouraged the creator during his time in the army. The production, directed by Pedro Vasconcelos, is currently showing in Brazilian cinemas.
From Brazilian classics to aerial tech CEO
Earlier in his career, Fábio acted in the comedy “Dona Flor e Seus Dois Maridos”, directed by Pedro Vasconcelos, and in “Gêmeas de Cristal”, starring Xuxa and directed by Jorge Fernando. These titles illustrate different phases of Brazilian film and TV.
His trajectory reveals range, stage presence and dedication in each role. In parallel, he serves as CEO of Riodrone, a company specializing in cutting-edge aerial technology for audiovisual productions, advertising, inspections and construction monitoring.
Fábio continues to expand his horizons in the audiovisual field, combining experience, charisma and authenticity. Thus, he occupies new spaces in Brazilian drama and now ventures into fashion imagery.
