Twenty years after their first partnership, H&M and Stella McCartney join forces again with a sustainable fashion collection.
H&M announced a new collaboration with designer Stella McCartney during the 2025 Fashion Awards in London. The partnership marks a reunion two decades after the pair launched their first collection in 2005, with a new sustainable line set to debut in the first half of 2026.
The collection will feature certified, recycled, and responsibly sourced materials, offering innovative alternatives to conventional fabrics. The designs will showcase McCartney’s signature aesthetic, blending timeless silhouettes with her distinctive ethical approach to contemporary fashion.
A new chapter for conscious fashion
This collaboration goes beyond design, introducing the Insights Board—an initiative that brings together industry voices to advance discussions about sustainability, animal welfare, and innovation. Guests at the Fashion Awards, including Anitta, Emily Ratajkowski, and Amelia Gray, wore preview looks from the upcoming collection.
“Revisiting my archives with H&M brought both nostalgia and joy. This partnership celebrates how far we’ve come in sustainability and design, while acknowledging how much further we have to go,” said Stella McCartney. “Real change happens when we push from both inside and outside the industry.”
“Stella is a true pioneer in both fashion and ethics,” added Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M’s Head of Design. “This collection captures her distinctive energy and continues our mission to combine great design with genuine responsibility.”
The Stella McCartney x H&M collection will be available both in stores and online in early 2026.
