Where style meets sound

H&M is introducing H&M&REDSTAGE, a new music initiative that explores how style and fashion shape artistic expression and identity. The project brings together established global artists and rising stars to create new versions of iconic tracks, pioneering a conversation between style and sound.

Launching the project is one of contemporary R&B‘s most distinctive voices: eight-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter GIVĒON. Serving as the creative anchor, he personally invited two emerging artists to reinterpret his music through their own artistic perspectives.

Two artists, two fresh takes

Dhee, an experimental Australian vocalist who blends genres and challenges perceptions of South Asian music, delivers her take on “Like I Want You”. Meanwhile, London-born Absolutely, celebrated for her diverse influences and powerful vocal range, reimagines “Heartbreak Anniversary”.

GIVĒON himself also contributes new recorded versions of his own tracks, “Rather Be” and “Twenties”, deepening the artistic vision at the heart of the project.

“I’m so grateful that Dhee and Absolutely agreed to be part of this very special journey. Seeing my work through their eyes was beautiful, surprising, and enriching. It made me fall in love with my songs all over again. The energy in the studio was incredible to witness.” — GIVĒON

Fashion as freedom

H&M has a long history of collaborating with global icons celebrated for their personal style. With H&M&REDSTAGE, the brand extends that legacy into a genre-defying format that champions emerging talent.

“Like fashion, music has always been a space for self-expression. It brings people together and creates a sense of freedom, where individuality and belonging coexist. For H&M, ‘liberating fashion for the many’ is about more than clothes — it’s about access, inclusion, and giving people the freedom to express who they are. Supporting emerging talent in culture is part of that journey, and H&M&REDSTAGE is the next step.” — Jörgen Andersson, Chief Creative Officer, H&M
“I’ve always said that music is the love of my life. That’s why I loved this project — it’s a true tribute to the special musical differences that make each artist unique. I’m so grateful to be part of this.” — Dhee
“It’s an honor to offer my own special interpretation of ‘Heartbreak Anniversary.’ I see my music as a translation of everything going on in my mind — all the different influences and experiences. So this project was special to me, as it’s about exploring identity and what makes us unique, as artists and as people.” — Absolutely
